Street team handing out flyers outside a venue at night
Groundwork — street team platform

Platform Guide · Partners & Admins

Street teams, run like an operation.

Groundwork is the platform for recruiting, deploying, verifying, and rewarding brand ambassadors — flyering, social pushes, and on-the-ground promo, all tracked in one place.

What Groundwork is

Promo you can actually see

Street-team marketing is usually the least trackable line on an event budget. Groundwork turns it into something you can watch happen: every campaign gets its own opportunity board, its own crew, and its own reward store — and every flyer run or story post comes back with photo proof attached.

Recruit

Ambassadors sign up and apply. You approve who makes the crew — with their location, socials, and history in front of you.

Deploy

Post opportunities — point-valued work with limited slots: flyering a show, posting a story, dropping materials at a business. Geo-targeted by radius.

Verify & reward

Work comes back as photo submissions. Approve them and points post automatically — points ambassadors spend in your reward store.

How it works

The campaign loop

One cycle, start to finish. Every campaign on Groundwork runs this same loop.

Create a campaign

One per event or promotion: dates, city, targeting radius, age requirement.

Post opportunities

The work itself — event, social, or business — each worth points, each with slots.

Ambassadors apply

Your enrolled crew claims opportunities. Region checks run automatically.

You approve

One click per application. The roster fills, slots count down.

Materials go out

Flyer stacks, posters, merch — shipped to the crew through the materials queue, inventory tracked per campaign.

The work happens

At the venue, on the street, on their feeds.

Proof comes back

Photos submitted in-app against the specific opportunity they claimed.

Review & award

Approve the proof — the points post to their balance instantly.

Points become rewards

VIP tickets, merch, cash — redeemed from the campaign's own store.

Admin walkthrough

Every screen, in the order you'll use it

This is the live platform with sample campaign data. Ten screens cover the whole job. Click any screen to enlarge it.

groundwork.events — Dashboard
Admin dashboard with promoter, approval, campaign, and proof counters

01 · Dashboard

Your morning glance

Four counters tell you what needs attention: total promoters, pending approvals, active campaigns, proofs waiting for review.

  • Check the queues — anything pending is one click away
  • Shortcuts jump straight to promoters, proofs, materials, campaigns
groundwork.events — Campaigns
Campaign management list showing two active campaigns

02 · Campaigns

One row per event

Each campaign carries its date, location, age requirement, crew size, and opportunity count. Status at a glance.

  • Stand one up in minutes — dates, city, targeting radius, age gate
  • Search and filter by title, city, or status as the list grows
groundwork.events — Campaign detail
PIFFCON campaign detail with opportunities, promoters, rewards, team and settings tabs

03 · Inside a campaign

The whole operation, tabbed

Opportunities, enrolled promoters, rewards, team, settings — everything scoped to this one campaign. The header shows targeting: region, radius, age gate.

  • Track opportunities, crew, and pending applications from one header
  • Team tab — give a partner or tour manager access to just this campaign
groundwork.events — Opportunities
Opportunities list with event, social, and business opportunity types

04 · Opportunities

The work ambassadors claim

Opportunities are the individual jobs inside a campaign. Three types: event (on-the-ground — flyering a show), social (stories and posts), business (dropping materials at venues and shops).

  • Points set the value — 50 for a story share, 300 for working a venue
  • Slots cap how many ambassadors can claim each one
  • Quick Add — paste a flyer or event blurb and the opportunity details pre-fill automatically
groundwork.events — Promoters
Promoter roster with status, tier, points and join date

05 · Promoters

The full roster

Everyone who's ever signed up: approval status, tier, lifetime points, opportunities worked, join date. Search by name or location, filter by status or tier.

  • Spot your top performers by points and tier
  • Click any row for the full profile
groundwork.events — Ambassador profile
Ambassador detail modal with approve, reject and deactivate controls

06 · Ambassador profile

Approve, message, manage

The gate for who represents your brand. Approve or reject at the top; tabs below hold their profile, campaign history, opportunity record, and points ledger.

  • Message ambassadors directly in-app
  • Leave admin notes only your team can see
  • Deactivate without deleting history
groundwork.events — Applications
Application review queue with region status badges

07 · Applications

Region-aware review

Three queues — new promoter signups, campaign enrollments, opportunity applications. Groundwork checks each applicant against the campaign's targeting radius before you approve.

  • In Region badges confirm they're local
  • Out-of-radius applications get flagged, not hidden — your call
  • Approving notifies the ambassador automatically — in-app and by email
groundwork.events — Proof review
Proof review screen showing the all-caught-up state

08 · Proof review

Where work gets verified

Every submission lands here with its photos attached to the exact opportunity it belongs to. Approve it and the points post automatically — no spreadsheet, no math.

  • Approve or reject with the photo in front of you
  • A clean queue means you're caught up — this is the goal state
groundwork.events — Rewards
Rewards management with reward cards, points pricing and redemption caps

09 · Rewards

Each campaign's own store

Price rewards in points and cap the supply: VIP tickets, merch drops, cash payouts, experiences. Scarcity is built in — "4 left" does the motivating for you.

  • Create rewards per campaign or browse them all
  • Pause a reward anytime; track redemptions per item
groundwork.events — Materials
Materials management for promoter shipments and inventory

10 · Materials

Flyers and merch, tracked

Promo only works if the flyers are in hands. When ambassadors need physical materials — flyer stacks, posters, merch — requests and shipments run through here, with inventory tracked per campaign.

  • Ambassadors request materials in-app — requests land in one queue
  • Approve, ship, and know what's in whose hands, by campaign

Why ambassadors stay active

The points engine

Groundwork borrows the mechanics that keep people playing games and points programs — and aims them at promo work.

Points on approval

Every opportunity has a point value. The moment you approve a proof, the points hit the ambassador's balance — instant, visible feedback for real work.

Tiers & multipliers

Twelve tiers across two tracks — physical (street work) and social (posting) — with point multipliers that grow as ambassadors climb from bronze up. Your best people earn faster.

Scarce rewards

Reward stores have limited redemptions per item. "5 left" turns a merch drop into a race.

A real ledger

Every point earned or spent is a recorded transaction. Balances always reconcile — no disputes, no double-spends.

Bronze Silver Gold Platinum + — earned separately for street work and social reach

Nobody chases anybody

Comms built in

Every status change carries its own notification — and when you need a real conversation, it happens inside the platform.

Email notifications

Approvals, new opportunities, and reward news land in ambassadors' inboxes automatically. Nobody has to remember to open the app.

In-app notifications

The notification feed mirrors everything inside the platform — new opportunities, application results, points landing.

Direct messaging

Message any ambassador straight from their profile — coordination stays in Groundwork, tied to the campaign, not lost in a text thread.

The other side of the app

What ambassadors experience

Ambassadors get their own view of the same platform — simple enough to onboard someone in five minutes.

For events & brands

What a partnership looks like

If the Groundwork team is handling promo for your event, this is how you'll see it happen.

Fast setup

Your campaign stands up in a day: opportunities, radius, crew, rewards — posting the work is paste-a-flyer fast.

Local by design

Recruiting targets a radius around your venue. The crew flyering your show actually lives in your market.

Proof, not promises

You don't get "we handed out 2,000 flyers" as a line item — you get the photos. Every opportunity, verified before it's paid in points.

Where this is headed

Roadmap

Groundwork is live and running campaigns today. This is what's being built next — the through-line is turning street promo from a cost you trust into a channel you measure.

Next up

Referral links that close the loop

Every ambassador gets their own tracked links and codes for ticket sales and vendor signups. When a link converts, the sale attributes to that ambassador automatically — points post, commissions tally, and you see exactly who's selling, not just who's posting. Street promo becomes a measurable sales channel.

Planned

A promoter network that compounds

Every campaign adds vetted promoters to a growing database — searchable by city, tier, and track record. Over time that's the real asset: launching in a new market starts from a roster of people who've already proven they show up, not a cold recruiting drive.

Planned

Campaign invites

Don't wait for applications. Browse the network, pick the promoters you want, and invite them straight into a campaign — they get a notification and join in one tap.

Planned

QR-coded materials

Flyer batches printed with per-ambassador QR codes. Physical distribution becomes scan data — which crews, which neighborhoods, which nights actually convert.

Planned

Campaign recap reports

One-click recaps for partners: distribution totals, social reach, referral numbers, and the full photo-proof gallery — exportable, shareable, invoice-ready.

Planned

Leaderboards & streaks

Campaign leaderboards the whole crew can see. Nothing moves a quiet week like second place.

Planned

Instant cash payouts

Cash rewards that pay out automatically on redemption — no manual transfers, no waiting on an admin.

Exploring

Social auto-verification

Connect Instagram and TikTok so post and story opportunities verify themselves — with real reach numbers pulled in, not screenshots.

Exploring

Branded workspaces

Your own Groundwork: partner organizations run campaigns under their own name and logo, with their own crews — on the same engine.
